Insight International is confident that its latest sales pitch, "A class of its own," will up the number Filipino travellers on European tours from 15 to 20 per cent next year said Robin Yap and Cris Newmann, regional director - Asia and managing director - Australia-Asia, respectively.

The Philippines is second highest producer for Insight, according to Alice San Juan, general manager, Rajah Travel. "What makes the difference is that tourists from our country spend a longer period in Europe, often opting for 21-day tours. Besides, Filipinos are known as free-spenders."
