The late John Senduk and Anak Agung Gede Rai were nominated for the Hall of Fame for lasting contributions to the development of the tourism industry.
Other winners included Ratna Krisman (personality of the year), former Jakarta governor Surjado Soedirdja (best promotional activity), Neka Museum director Suteja Neka (heritage award), and Wanariset Forest Research Station and orangutan rehabilitation centre director Dr. Willie Smits (environmental award).
