Phitsanulok province in Thailand's northern region has organised a grand launch of the Amazing Thailand Year 1998-99, with a food and gift festival from December 12 to 14 at a public park on the bank of the Nan River. As a lead up to the Amazing Thailand campaign, various shopping malls and markets took part in the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale promising discounts of up to 70 per cent.
