David Wookey has been appointed as Northwest Airlines' vice president, Asia while continuing at his post as vice president, Atlantic. Based in Hong Kong, he will be responsible for Northwest's on-line service in Hong Kong, China, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Guam and Saipan and off-line markets including Indonesia and Malaysia.
