THE Hong Kong Tourist Authority (HKTA) has launched a new certification programme, the Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme, which aims at improving the level of service to tourists in Hong Kong.
Companies that fulfill the scheme's criteria can display the QTS Decal on their premises. The initiative is a joint effort between the Hong Kong government, the business sector and tourism industry.
Cathay flying high at new HQ
CATHAY PACIFIC (CX) recently opened its new corporate headquarters - Cathay Pacific City at Hong Kong International Airport.
CX chairman James Hughes-Hallett said the opening of the new headquarters was an important milestone in the history of the airline.
"We truly believe we now have one of the finest headquarters in Asia, if not the world. This HK$4.9 billion complex is also a concrete demonstration of our commitment to Hong Kong," said Hughes-Hallett.
