Ha - HKCEC, Allen Ha has been promoted to the position of director of Business Development at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Ha joined HKCEC as marketing and sales manager in 1997, and will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies.
St Maurice - Island Shangri La, Rick St Maurice has been appointed director of marketing at the Island Shangri La in Hong Kong. He was previously sales director at Traders Hotel in Singapore.
Ng - Also at the Island Shangri-La, Lucinder Ng and Don Lau have both been promoted to assistant director of sales.
Hoogeweegen - Century Manila, Eduard Hoogeweegen has been appointed general manager of Century International's Bayview Part Hotel Manila. He was previously general manager of the Century Saphir Bali and Century Mabisa Inn Bali, and is replaced by Tony van Gevelt. Meanwhile, Dennis Oldfield has been appointed general manager of the Century Harbour Hotel in Hong Kong.
Flowers - Marco Polo, Jeffery Flowers has been appointed senior vice president, marketing and development for Marco Polo Hotels. He will oversee the group's marketing and development activities for Asia Pacific, and operational responsibilty for Marco Polo hotels in China, the Philippiones, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Victors - Regal Hotels, Daniel Victor has been appointed vice president marketing and sales at Regal Hotels International. He has previously held positions at Forte/Meridien Hotels and Lee Gardens International Group.
