Flying firsts

CATHAY PACIFIC: Increased flights on its winter schedule from October 30 to March 25, 2000. Two flights daily, Hong Kong-Sydney. Three weekly flights added on the Hong Kong-Seoul route, bringing the total to 24 a week. Two extra daily flights on the Hong Kong-Osaka route, bringing the total to 21 each week. One extra flight to Zurich, bringing the total to four a week.

EMIRATES: New service Dubai-Singapore-Sydney, commencing March 26, 2000.

ANSETT AUSTRALIA: Daily flights Hong Kong-Sydney, commencing December 2.

AIR FRANCE: One extra flight per week on the Paris-Delhi route, bringing the total to six weekly. One extra flight per week Paris-Mumbai, making the total five per week. Paris-Seoul increased frequency from three to four flights weekly, as of October 31.
