Bass Hotels & Resorts has made the following appointments: Andrew Quinlan joins as general manager, Bangalore Inter-Continental. Quinlan was previously general manager of The Oberoi Hotel, New Delhi.
Joseph Zitnik joins as general manager, Crowne Plaza Shijiazhuang, China. Zitnik was previously the general manager of the Hard Rock Hotel, Bali.
Steven Parker has been appointed general manager, Imperial Inter-Continental, Taipei. Parker was the opening general manager of the Inter-Continental Resort in Turkey.
Christian Pirodon has been appointed general manager, COEX Inter-Continental Seoul. Pirodon was previously general manager of the Imperial Inter-Continental Taipei.
Peter Bamberg has been appointed general manager, Holiday Inn Qingdao, China. Bamberg was previously general manager of Crowne Plaza Wiesbaden in Germany.
King of the Castle
Castle Resorts & Hotels has appointed Tom Liu as general manager of the Royal Orchid Guam Hotel, in Tumon Bay, due to open in November. Liu has over 28 years experience in the hospitality industry. Previously, he was general manager of the Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino on Tinian on the Northern Mariana Islands.
Norio Takizawa has been promoted to general manager of the ANA Hotel Singapore.
Valerie Chew has been appointed assistant sales manager of Sol Melia Asia Pacific.
Randall Marketing Pty Ltd has been appointed as Meritus Hotels & Resorts representative for Australia and New Zealand. Heading the team is regional director of sales Randall Lui. He is assisted by regional sales managers, Fional Delton and Alan Denning.

Lynn Fairbrass has been promoted to Hilton sales manager - conference and meetings. She will be based in the national sales office in Sydney. Fairbrass was previously Hilton Cairns convention and banquet sales manager.

Raffles International Limited has promoted Jennie Chua from executive vice president to president and chief operating officer.
Royal Cliff Beach Resort, Pattaya, Thailand, has appointed Jurairat Povibool as sales manager, MICE and Ross Ferguson as resident manager of its meeting facility - PEACH (Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall).
Jardine Travel Group has appointed Francis Hung as chief executive of Euop-Air Group of Companies. The Eupo-Air Group is an Asian travel specialist in the ethnic Chinese market. It has ticket wholesale and tour operations in Hong Kong, mainland China, North America and the United Kingdom.

The Kowloon Hotel, Hong Kong, has appointed Thomas Christiansen as assistant front office manager. Previously, Christiansen was guest services manager at The Palace Hotel, Beijing.
Outrigger Hotels & Resorts has appointed Terry Yawata as director of meetings, conventions and incentives (MCI) sales. In this newly-created position, Yawata is responsible for developing sales strategies to boost Outrigger's share of the MCI market. Previously, Yatawa was director of group sales for the Sheraton Maui.
Novotel Lotus Bangkok has appointed Somsak Wongsavit as assistant director of sales. Somsak was previously assistant director of sales at Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza and Montien Hotel Bangkok.
Dean Nakasone has been appointed director of revenue management for Ohana Hotels of Hawaii.
