Positioning itself as the first downtown resort in Macau, the Mandarin's new health club, spa, pools, five tennis and two squash courts, restaurants, adventure training facilities and children's club are spread out over 15,000 square metres of ocean front next to the existing 435-room hotel.
'Set close to the ferry terminal and 10 minutes from the airport, the resort is going to be the ideal complement to our meeting and conference facilities,' said Frank Stocek, the hotel's general manager.
The resort is due to open this December to coincide with Macau's handover to China.
